Parents

With the new learning platform check-e.jetzt for Stuttgart pupils we are offering learning support free of charge.
Once a week, the children/young people receive individual learning support via the video chat tool Jitsi (which runs data protection-secure on a stand-alone server).
The prerequisite for participation is a recommendation from a teacher, (school) social worker or a member of staff at an advice centre – here a signature is required on this form. The pupils should reckon with participating in the learning support project for at least six months.

The subject in which learning support is required can be specified in the registration form.
Once we have checked the registration data, a member of staff will contact you/your child and look for a person suitable for the learning support required. Then, we will meet on the digital platform (for pupils under 16 in the accompaniment of a parent or guardian or a teacher/social worker) so that everyone can get to know one another and coordinate dates, duration and topics of the learning support.

Afterwards, both parties can decide whether the learning support should start.

What are the benefits for my child?
Your daughter/son can easily meet up with a learning guide via video chat. They will be selected for your child according to the type of school, grade level and subject for which learning support is required. During the weekly learning time, your child can ask any questions he or she may have, have the subject matter explained in detail again and expand on it by doing exercises. This way, the pupils are able to follow the lessons better and may get a better sense of achievement and more fun at school.
